I don't blame him for taking that stance. Have a bad decision go against you in one fight, and get stopped by low blows in the next one. What's the point?
Stop crying,
You Anti-America,Americans are taking L's like a mofo.
If Kwitter Kovalev wasn't so busy rabbit punching he could have done a better job protecting his tiny ball.
kkkovalev the cry baby lost the first fight according to the 3 judges approved by his promoter! Those are the only 3 score cards that matter! In the rematch he was losing on 2 score cards of judges once again approved by his promoter... So thats 5 judges outs 6 who had the cry baby sore loser russian losing..... Someone needs a whaaambulance
Do you think Kovalev knows Ward is their only fighter maybe 1 or 2 now that Cotto left he's pretending it's a juggernaut buying judges refs denial baby
his next excuse will be that beyonce ****** the judges to get ward the win lmfaooooooo... russian cry babies love fake news

Second fight was closer, but Ward got away with low blow, and it was a blatant one that made Weeks call it off.
Should he even had called it off if it wasn't a low blow.
Your job is to protect the fighter from serious injury, Kovalev was not taking many heavy blow to the head, and he slumped back on the ropes given the ref to give him a count if he believed the punch was good, which it wasn't.
Kovalev was 5-2 up going into the 8th. But his punch output was much higher and was tiring.
Kovalev should have dumped Jackson and the team after the first fight.
Went it with the wrong game plan, as Ward did much better in the 2nd fight.
The Jab was Kovalev's dominant tool, and that should have been the basis of victory. control the distance, pump out the jab and try and catch Ward walking on to one.
Most rational boxing fans years from now after both are retired will agree with Kovalev. Ward with his asterisks blew his biggest chances of enhancing his legacy.
So says the armchair expert...
Look it's time to stop whining an EXCEPT that Cryvalev was bested TWICE by the SUPERIOR boxer. Very simple, time to move on.
