They'll be 55,000 people at that fight. And the government put up $1.4 million. That's why Pac is fighting this guy
I think the Brisbane Government actually put up $10 million hey! It's been a good payoff for tourism though.

Since Pacquiao fought Mayweather he has fought Bradley a 3rd time in a fight most did not want to see, then fought Jessie Vargas, a fight even more that people did not want to see. Now Horn. SMH, I can't.

          I'll pass on this one.
I can understand what you're saying about the lack of competition since Mayweather but Vargas was on his way to a KO against Bradley had the old, senile ref not heard the bell in his head, thus making Vargas a credible opponent at the time and Bradley is a solid boxer even if a trilogy wasn't necessary. I hope you're not defending Mayweather for his choice of opponents since he fought Pacquiao.
Pacquiao is near the end of his illustrious, HOF career and is also working as a senator in the Philippines so I think he deserves a pass, especially since his fight with Horn is on free tv. What's Mayweather's excuse?
Pacquiao is obviously no longer in his prime and has been in plenty of wars. He doesn't have much of a chance against a Spence or a Crawford. Should he really have to take a beating at this point in his career for the amusement of the fans?

I didn't mention Mayweather not sure why his name came up.

There's lots of opponents at different levels to fight. If Arum really wanted to we could have got the Pac vs Khan fight instead of this. There's Pac vs Danny Garcia and others that he can fight. But Arum chose this guy Horn who no one knows and has 16 wins and 1 draw on his record.

If Pac is just going to keep fighting guys like Horn and Vargas then he should just retire now.

Honestly by next year Mayweather, Pacquiao and Cotto should hang them up. Their time is done. We have plenty of good, exciting young fighters and stars in lots of weight divisions now to carry the sport. Particularly having excitement back at Heavyweight is more than anyone could have asked for with Mayweather, Pacquiao and Cotto getting ready for their AARP membership cards.

The quote I responded to suggested Horn would be at a disadvantage against the older veteran due to his inability to pull himself together. Manny is an older veteran who's falling off somewhat(see KTFO against the great JMM, losing to Bradley, embarassing himself against Mayweather)Your response is nonsensical. Please stfu.
