Floyd's two most competitive fights were Maidana 1 and JLC 1. In both of those fights Floyd was bullied and fouled (both guys got away with some stuff...low blows, rabbit punches, etc.), but Floyd does NOT do well under pressure when the ref "allows" dirty tactics.

Floyd is very much a "by the books" fighter who likes to be the only one "bending the rules". Maidana definitely crossed the line more than Floyd, but I'll be damned if he didn't make Floyd VERY uncomfortable.

        ... AND...

It's NOT going to happen, blah, blah... yeah, we know. But if you had a "gun to your head" explain how Conor beats Floyd. Serious question, playing devil's advocate, if you're forced to analyse Conor's game, etc... How *could* it happen?

        - What attributes does Conor have, better than Floyd?
        - What has worked in the past vs Floyd that Conor could exploit?
        - What has Floyd not seen before that Conor could surprise with?
        ... etc...
Being very fast and very active.
I think a long rangey fighter like a Lara coupled with his speed and world class counter punching game that would see Floyd get outboxed.
There is a reason Floyd didn't want that fight, Lara arguably hasn't officially been beaten legitimately I should say.

He still lost, and where are you getting that he doesn't do well under pressure? You won't find a more relaxed fighter in boxing today.

              I fear...

That Conor didn't strategize, that he really believes he can rely on just being the bigger, stronger man

              That Conor gets cut

That Conor's head movement will be non-existent, will rely only on pulling straight back

Attack that shell with straight pipes (head, head, body)
Attack the high guard with long uppercuts
Never throw one shot, follow everything up

From orthodox, come over the top of that shoulder, if not the chin, target the top of the ear

                ...tbc....

                be on the outside

                disrupt the pull counter
