Counters. Everytime Floyd got it it was via counter. Same way RJJ got ko'd st time...counters.
How do you beat Mayweather? -If u had "a gun to ur head" explain how McGregor wins?

The ones who had the best success against Floyd, Augustus, Castillo, Cotto and Maidana swarmed him, applied pressure, pressed him, threw high volume of punches and did not try to think too much or box with Floyd.
That would be Conor's best chance. Will he have the training, stamina, etc....to fight like that?
With no experience boxing, going 12 rounds, etc......it will be tough for him to employ that game plan and strategy.Comment

We can certainly agree to disagree, but I feel there was a marked difference between the chopped up one and the raw one.
If it's coming from a McGregor fan site, best believe it's going to try and make McGregor look great.
I hope like hell McGregor is a fast learner, if only to not be completely embarrassed against Floyd.Comment

You move away *this much*... and you're safely out of range.
Against someone with two or three or four inches longer reach than you're used (over your career)...
You move away *this much*... and you get clipped.
That's not to say that Floyd won't account for that, but it affects things, it's something new for Floyd.Comment

Drop the hyperbole--"three or four times faster"-- lets speak sensibly.

I'm a Floyd fan and I agree. As you already pointed out, Floyd has long become accustomed to enjoying a reach advantage. This is something a little new.Comment

You'd have to go back in time, get a prime Tommy Hearns, bring him to this present time, put him in enough make-up with special effects to make him look like McGregor, then put him in the ring with Floyd instead of ConnorComment

It was indeed a master performance...and even an unhealthy Floyd would beat McGregorComment

Dude, if you're an MMA guy, that's cool, but you're not understanding that McGregor is totally out of his element. Seriously, it would be like Floyd trying to beat a guy who's been doing BJJ for the last 30-35 years of his life. Floyd grew up in a gym, his father is a world champion and uncle a 2 weight world champion. There's the lucky punch chance, and that's about it. Boxing, like any other MA, is an art, and mastering it isn't something that happens with just a few years of experience. Even if there was no raw footage and McGregor was doing well with CVN, Floyd would completely toy with him too. You seem to wa t answers, but are getting upset that they aren't the answers you want to hear.Comment
