will mcgregor be mayweathers last fight?

its assumed that this will be floyds last fight but how can we be sure?
floyd loves the attention too much, his ego couldnt handle it that boxing was having a great year without him. It burned how quickly he has been forgot about.
We saw him prancing about like a clown when he was promoting the gervonta davis fight, he wanted to be the main attraction, the star. Hes a whore for the limelight, like a crack addict looking for their fix.
So could floyd keep going and going? Mayweather has history of 'retiring' and coming back. And could it once again be against someone who has never fought in pro boxing before? Will this be the start of a trend of mayweather fighting guys that dont participate in boxing?

If he gets old during the fight with McGregor, looks bad or even (gasp!) loses, we may not see him lace up the gloves again. However, if he handles McGregor easily and looks great doing it, he may want to pad his record with one or even two more dance-offs, er, fights.

I think at 40 years old and about to turn 41.

I say yeah, this will be Mayweather's last fight.

Its not about easy its about MONEY, pay Floyd the right money he will fight anyone, no boxer will make him 100-200ml .

The trouble with getting the paydays he wants takes something special to generate.

I don't think Floyd will box again after this, the money is just not there.

let's hope floyd, a guy who made half a billion in purses, does't need to fight any more.

i'm guessing that this will be floyd's last fight. if he goes broke he'll be back, and while it'd be nobody's fault but his own, i do not wish for that to happen. floyd gave a ton to boxing. never took a fight or a camp lightly, boxed at the highest level as an amateur and got robbed in teh olympics. climbed weights. broke bones in his hands. however little punishement he took for a championship level fighter, he still did it at a high enough level for long enough that he will feel the affects as he ages.

i'm more worried about pacquiao. he may leave boxing feeling like there's eomthing left to prove. in his prime he was in hellish wars at the low weights, and was in fights against much bigger guys when he finished his prime against cotto, hatton, clottey, margarito, etc. there's also the "wildcard sparring" which is much rougher than i care to see, and that has legit turned some dudes puncy from all accounts. mike dallas jr was never going to be a good fighter, but i heard a lot of boxing people say he was never the same after a few training camps with pacquiao, and that he started to sound punchy before he even got his high profile fight against matthysse.

Since I never thought this would actually happen, I'd be willing to say that he'll fight again.
