Rigondeaux has resisted moving up in weight his whole professional career. The reasons why have been discussed ad nauseam. Lomachenko is a special case. There's nowhere that kind of interest for anyone else. (Personally, I don't think Rigo would really fight Lomo at 130. And if he did, he wouldn't weigh over 126 on fight night.) Lol. All the Loma talk was just a bluff as usual to keep his name relevant for cherry picked opponents. Magdaleno is the Jason Sosa of Rigondeaux's division, no one is asking for that fight. I still want Loma vs Rigo at 128 or 129 pounds.Comment

Yup. And people here are making a great point about how he hasn't tried to fight Gary Russell at 126 either.
