I have a sinking feeling that Floyd may try to allow this 'contest' to be competetive enough to warrant a rematch. How funny it would be, if, whilst carrying McGregor the distance Floyd got Plankquiao'd.

I know realistically, head to head, Conor stands no chance whatsoever and I've said this since it was announced. I just wouldn't be surprised if Floyd's people are dreaming up some scenario to squeeze even more money out of it.

He could carry McGregor the distance and still outclass him while taking no risks. All it would take is paying off the judges to come in with laughably inaccurate scores. We see that happen near enough every week anyway.

If Conor beats Floyd & retires from boxing he's not as smart as I think he is.

If Conor somehow legitly beats Floyd he very possibly never fights in MMA again & for sure isn't fighting for the money they were paying him previously. Ideally he fights Manny in his 2nd fight & then if he somehow beats Manny he fights Canelo for another insane payday for his 3rd fight. And if he somehow beats all 3 of those guys he's probably fighting Tony Ferguson from the UFC cuz obviously boxers suck in this fantasy future world &/or MMA guys are gonna be overhyped transitioning over to boxing. And the UFC will probably start its own boxing promotion between Conor beating Floyd & a UFC super boxing match between Conor & Tony Ferguson so the UFC will likely be promoting fights by then including that super UFC boxing match lol.
