They just got to overturn the Ward vs Kovalev II fight to a NC now

Flores' was going to lose that fight anyway but that still does not excuse the holding the head to land two punches and the fact that he threw that punch as he let go of his head which means the head in all likelihood would not be retracting from being bent for the punch to land. No Contest is fine but honestly in such a brutal sport doing shhh like that should get you DQ'd. Considering the amount of mofo's in coma's, brain bleeding and so forth, dirty fighting should be completely admonished.

I hate seeing that Flores guy get rewarded when I 100% believe he was milking the flawed ruling, but I understand the NC. I just wish someone woulda did the same for the Dirrell vs Jose fight awhile back in what was also a "I understand the NC" type fight regardless on what side you were on if you were being reasonable about it.

Emotionally I'd like to see the KO stand or Flores being DQ'd for faking an injury. Although idk how you can prove without doubt anyone, including Flores, was faking an injury.

A lot of people will remember that unjustified stoppage for ever. There is of course the video, but also a lot of photos that show clearly that injustice.

So without a NC another injustice is just happening no more no less, even more now that Rigo got his NC.

the only injustice is that Weeks stopped it early. Kov was getting worked that round and lost to the better man. Deal with it and move on. It won't get reversed

Stop with the holding him behind the head, that got zero impact on the KO even if he was stop is just a warning not even a point.

That was a clean Punch follow by an acting scene. The NC is because after the bell, stop with the holding.

Ok.. so he did not hold him behind the neck and hit him before the KO blow?

They should have ruled it a NC at the end of the fight. Now it seem like they're just caving in to pressure. It looked Lampley was openly trying to influence the decision of the commission during the broadcast. It's the right call but the timing is making it look suspect.
