The answer is yes.. therefore that can easily be said for Angulo.

What's next? Lara? Are we gonna say Lara drained himself from 160 to fight Alvarez? Again, another non title bout.

Kirkland. Is Kirkland known as a 160 fighter? Is he as stocky and popular for as long as little Stevens been a Middleweight? So is Kirkland a drained fighter? Again another non title bout.

Cotto? Did Cotto Drain from 160?

Smith? Both fought for a 154 strap and both were draining at it considering Smith is already ranked at 160...

Chavez Jr.? That catchweight was justified as a bonafide Middle for both.

So what's this premise about Alvarez enforcing drainage on opponents?!
Catchweight was bs. Chavez went from having little to no chance to win. I dont liken to seeing promoters and fighters fool casuals because they don't know any better . its not like Floyd vs canelo - that was a much fairer catchweight. And besides , Floyd earned his A side status with a great resume. Canelo is parading around that he's A side demanding to walk in 2nd vs ggg with a dodgy resume full of shot fighters like Kirkland , dodgy single scorecards in close fights like cotto and lara, and circus show vs khan.

Anyway this stuff don't matter .....only the actual fight matters ...GGG vs canelo and I hope there's no dodgy scoring in favour of canelo

While it's 100% true what he says about Chavez Jr., which is a disgrace for boxing, I am looking forward to seeing how big Canelo's "balls" will be, when he faces someone who hits harder, much harder than him, for the very first time in his life. Somebody who hits better jabs and power punches both to the face and body, and somebody taller than him to boot, and about the same weight.

It's easy to look "great" vs. a super-bum and a coward like Chavez Jr. but GGG is a completely different story.

I hope GGG KO's the redhead loudmouth, then beats Saunders to unify, breaks Hopkins record which is not a deserved one, and then he retires undefeated. He deserves it.
