I'll wait a day or two to see what Arum says first. Manny isn't the smartest cat with contracts (remember when he signed with GBP & was still with TR? lol).

And I wouldn't be surprised if Arum just has some first refusal/UFC type contract & he's testing fair market value for Manny, which I'd bet is probably lower than what Arum is currently paying him, to lower the strain of Manny paydays on the TR budget with this new ESPN/ABC deal. And it should help make the Manny vs Bud fight more possible if Manny's paydays drastically get lowered & a payday for a bigger fight looks all the sexier for Manny.

My bet is on Manny fighting for TR next time out despite this news. Or he'll not fight at all, but I suspect he'll ride it til the wheels fall off from here out. Almost feeling like its 100% we'll see Manny lose if not straight KO'd again before he hangs them up although I'm rooting against it.
