Demetrius Hopkins , Can he live up to the name ?

Ah, The fighting nephew of Uncle Bernard. He's basically a clone of BHOP. Same stance , same head movement , he even punches in the same way as BHOP. Is he ready to take the next step up in class ?
Or is he not ready yet ? Will he live up to the name ? From what I've seen he has alot of work to do still but I think he can be a force to reckon with "someday".

            same sleep inducing style

this style worked for b-hop who after yeards of "executing" opponents commanded respect

danced for first couple rounds, opponent felt urgency and began to step it up, b-hop picked off counters

d-hop does not command this respect at this point and a huge step up in class will leave him beaten and bloodied

thats why his steps have been relatively small

I've seen him fight a few times. He looks pretty good, but I don't see him amounting to much.He is lucky to have B-hop promoting him though,he is getting some decent exposure.

D-Hop is nice. He is very skilled in the ring. Kinda surprising the skill he shows at this stage of his career. Seems he lacks the power of his uncle, but B-Hop doesnt have KO power, he just punishes you for rounds and they take there toll.

With BHop guiding him, i thnik he might just be a world champ one day.

He's got amazing skill and ring savvy for one so early in their career.

I'd love to see him fight a top 10 super light.

Hes already better than the "Condenters", he KO'd Jesse Feliciano (who drew and beat Gomez) in 4, also Paul Delgado, who was robbed against Dmitriy Salita. So, hes proving he will be a good fighter, but I dont think he will be great.
