There is no limit... weight classes are set to not go over.. coming under is no problem. The 122 pounder wouldn't fight a heavyweight... shoot they let mcgregor fight Mayweather... lol that's worse

Exactly... So many lesser fighters get big paydays, a talent like Rigo needs to be rewarded... hopefully money isn't a stumbling block for this fight though...

Arum will most likely lowball Rigo.

Next thing lomachenko will do is to offer "2 peanuts and 1 dollar" to rigo for the fight. Then, he will say "you saw? he ducked". We have seen this before.

Why doesn't Roc Nation give him money? All the cash wasted on Ward for 130k buys. Arum and hbo are on budget and only way fighters get big pay days now is Arum making it ppv. Arum has a plan for his fighters and thinking of the future. Rigo has no future and it seems hes gonna be in limbo once roc nation folds.

I'm sorry, did Lomachenko give Rigondeaux his belt? No? Then what the **** are you even talking about lol? Canelo won the middleweight championship of the world. GGG was also a middleweight. How are the two situations at all comparable? Not to mention, Canelo is getting a huge percentage of the split, so yes GGG made concessions. Canelo's side is also the lead promoter, and got to choose the venue. They also got to decide what date the fight happened on, as GGG wanted the fight two years ago. They waited until GGG was 35.

So you have no idea what you're talking about. The only thing I can think of is that you're trying to say but failing is that Canelo is fighting GGG at 160 when he could have fought him at 155. Except, he couldn't have, because GGG said no. GGG used his mandatory spot to take Canelo's belt, and then when Canelo asked GGG for 155, GGG said **** you because GGG is also a much bigger star than Rigondeaux, plus Canelo was already a middleweight so why should he? Oscar said it was always the plan for Canelo to grow into middleweight anyway, and that's what they did. They took their time doing it too.

That's the difference between a C-side like Rigondeaux, who brings no money to the table, and an A-side like GGG in every fight except Canelo, a franchise like GGG who sells out 20,000+ tickets all over the world. But I don't want to confuse you, the bottom line is Lomachenko never gave his belt to Rigondeaux, Canelo did.

Great fight! This has definite pound for pound implications. It is a dead even fight. My initial pick would be Lomachenko based on sheer volume if not accuracy. He will throw more. Sadly, the crowd will probably boo at some point if the fight is too tactical. Hope it happens though. Can't wait.

This is a great point. Tell Jay-Z to pony up! If Rigo doesn't get the money he wants for this, that's on Jay-Z!

Now, loma a side, and y'all think it's ok for rigo to make concessions... hypocrisy bro that's all y'all are is hypocrites
No, the only problem here is people like you are hypocrites, and just flat out incredibly ******. GGG and Lomachenko don't have anything to do with each other, but unfortunately, people like you associate them together because of skin color. Guess what... any rational boxing fan would be a fan of either guy (or at least, not a hater. You don't need to be a fan) if they weren't prejudiced about skin color.

Secondly, Rigondeaux and Lomachenko already went through negotiations about 2? years ago. Rigo wanted 124, Loma declined. Rigo then offered 126 with rehydration limit of 135ish. Loma accepted. Both agreed to the financials. Rigo ended up pulling out of the fight despite weight and finances being agreed upon, IIRC because he decided last minute he wanted to go back on the weight agreement.

Lomachenko moved up to 130 and has been there for 1 year now. Lomachenko already attempted and had the fight made, Rigo messed his opportunity up. It's not Loma's fault.

Yet here you are: still finding a way to blame this on Lomachenko. LOL. As if, he needs to make concessions at this point when it's clear Rigo is desperate for a big fight, since nobody else wants to fight him. Loma is aiming for tough fights, against guys like Mikey Garcia. Who would be ****** enough to blame Lomachenko and act like he's ducking, when Mikey and other guys at 135 are tougher and more dangerous fights?

At the end of the day, Rigo has only himself/his team to blame for this. He could have fought Lomachenko at 126 previously, but ended up declining it. Loma was willing to make concessions then, he doesn't need to anymore. There is no hypocrisy here, just morons like yourself who can't see the obvious picture.

It's only a ho card if the fight doesn't happen because of Lomachenko's side. If the fight happens, then props to both.
