That's what im taking about Rigo isn't scared of no one he schooled nonito when the Filipino flash was flattening guys left n right.
But watch team Loma run from it, those guys want no part of Rigo.Comment

What benefits would Rigo have coming into the fight at 130? He probably weights 128 at the most when he's not fighting. If the fight is made should he come in around 126-128?Comment

to be fair.....
Loma has proven that he will fight anyone
my issue is Klimas
but yea, good point
personally, Rigo cannot talk if they select Salido next..... that fight has been in the pipeline, and Salido has already agreed to terms..... and I can see why the Salido fight is more attractive to Team Loma
but they simply HAVE to take Rigo seriously nowComment

He priced himself out. Keep lying to yourselves.Comment

you can easily argue it's not fair on Rigo
that fight should have been made at 126, tops
you can also argue that the onus is not on Loma to hang around
I hate to see a fighter forced to campaign out of his natural division
but yea, love Rigo's mojo..... him and Loma are fearless
GREAT fight, don't care who wins
a lot of my favorite fighters seem to be matching up this yearComment

Once again, from 2015 since some people here were not aware of the original negotiations:
Vasyl Lomachenko: Rigondeaux Does Not Want To Fight
By Gregroy Stangrit
27-year-old Ukrainian Vasyl Lomachenko, who holds the WBO world featherweight championship, says WBA/WBO junior featherweight champion Guillermo Rigondeaux of Cuba, 34-years-old, has refused to fight him.
The two Olympic champions have been trading messages on the social networks, calling each other out to fight.
Lomachenko says everything was agreed upon, including a rehydration clause on the morning of the fight and then Rigondeaux refused to face him.
"When we started talking to them about a fight in more detail, they put forward different conditions. They demanded the [financial] amount that was required, and we agree with them about it. They made a demand that on the morning of the fight, my weight does not exceed 62.5 kilograms [135-pounds give or take]. I agreed. But now they told us that they are not ready to stage this fight, now they do not want to fight," Lomachenko said.Comment
