This Is not true. Pacquiao Is fighting a guy named Jeff Horn next Saturday night and making $10 million. There are a list of fighters Pacquiao could fight that would make him good money and do decent PPV numbers.

Here's the problem with your argument. You see 10 million and you assume that's good money.

This is a guy who not two years ago made 100 MILLION in one fight.

This is a guy who made 26 MILLION in the first Bradley fight.



See, the issue is, your standards have now become so low for this guy that you're looking at his now fractional revenue as a win. It's not.


"Good money" for Pacquiao would be no less than 15 MILLION. He's only made that in 4 situations out of some 60 fights!

The names you listed? Only Mayweather, Canelo and MAYBE Marquez give him 15 MILLION at this stage. Mayweather's not happening, Marquez isn't happening. That only leaves Canelo.

Well If you are being honest, I think we both realize that boxers do not generally continue to earn the same kind of money at 40 as they did from 25-35.

He Is at the end of his career with MAYBE, 2-3 more fights. There Is nothing wrong with $10 million. That Is more than the top p4p fighters are making today and he Is making It fighting a guy that no on has ever heard of.
