They need to have these big fights outdoors to get more fans in. What's the point of doing it indoors to less than 20,000 people? It's a no brainer.

I do like the idea of an outdoor stadium like a ballpark being the site. It holds more fans and creates a lot more interest imo, but I understand why they have it where they have it.

Vegas just offered the most money, so they took it. Vegas loves having the fights because they just increase all of their prices week of and come out on top.
