Marquex was getting pummeled by manny prior to koing him. KOVALEV VS WARD 2 was a dead even fight coming in the 8th rd. Ward winning the rd and never dropping kovalev one time does not justify turning a bline eye to low blows.
There was no low blows. Kovalev had his trunks up to his ****.

He wasn't, Ward landed the right hand, 10 secs or so passed then Ward started landing at will.

It was over once he ripped this 3 punch combo to the head and body, look at Kov's face he didn't want anymore. You can see Ward wringing his arm out, preventing holding, Kov had no defense, the only thing he could do was to hope for Ward to miss like the gif you posted. Ward connected on like 90% of his punches in the final sequence.

there is a instance in this fight where kovalov is hit with a very very crisp body shot (clear as day) kovalov then turns completly around to avoid ward, what the **** was that if he wasn't hurt to the body? what about the 2 shots ward lands on his body and kovlov backs up screaming in pain? can someone explain this?

            It's Kovalev, not "Kovolov".

            Get it right, or else.

also save me the bull**** stories. don't really care. i wasn't there with u in vegas to confirm any of that. u can be or say what ever u want over the internet. i just stick to boxing talk.

Kov lost, Ward won. Fight was stopped a bit early but you didn't see Kov trying to plead his case to continue

                      see, guys? objectivity!
Very nice to see a true Ward fan with honesty.
