Ward couldn't sell water in the desert. It's all downhill from here. No big name opponents around to help sell his boring/dirty fights. Chickenshyt Stevenson won't fight him (and he isn't a draw either), and there is no money at Cruiserweight. He will probably fight one or two more unknown journeymen and retire.

Seriously doubt it did well and honestly who expected it to? Too much negativity around that Rivalry which I think in this case TURNED CASUALS OFF! Also neither fighter grabs casuals attention outside of the ring! Did they really sell the rivalry doe? The didn't do a faceoff. The did some special that to me suggested these two are kinda the same guy just with different upbringings, nationalities & roads to their fight. The only people that understand this rivalry are hardcore boxing fans & most of us don't even care about that angle of this fight cuz no one hyped it as much as it coulda been hyped.

Also who the f#ck was classy? Ward acts douchy 2x as often as he acts like the good guy & more often then not in your run of the mill media question situations. He has no sense of what fans want, boxing or casual. Kovalev has to delete once a month that people are saying racist & his promoter keeps trying to sell this f#cking rather KO you than speak to you personality like he can be the next Sugar Ray. None of these mfers has a clue what the f#ck they are trying to do for their own f#cking bank account.

Ward should be approaching Floyd, Manny or Oscar status in the game with his story, but instead I believe this was his first $5M+ payday & it likely was a net negative result for his promotion.
