Yeah, I think A is a better fighter too but E is a world level operator at 154lb and his defence should not come against a prospect whose best win is a journeyman off a 2 year lay off.
Why is he not fighting Lara? Andrade? Trout?
It's been almost 3 years since the Rosado fight was a coming out party and all he's done is pick up a vacant strap and fight Vanes. His fourth best win is probably a shot Alcine, who was never all that in the first place.
To top it all off the guy is 27 and has not even started to make a name for himself or solidify his place as one of the very best 154 pounders of the century, which he could do given his natural gifts.
I also have to ask, if Haymon manages at least 2 of the top dogs at 154, why can't he get them to fight? It's been over a year while both of these guys have held belts.
The Lubin fight would have been fine if these guys were fighting 4 or more times a year but when you know there are only a few dates and likely only 1 big fight a year for a Haymon fighter, why waste two dates?
Obviously this is all on the assumption that Lubin is next. Boxrec does not say anything to confirm it.
