I'm not entirely sure the line gets driven back up. I think the non-combat sports fans + MMA fans will start pounding it back down if it starts to rise to far up.
Those non-combat sports fans probably think Conor is the sexier bet for various reasons that make sense to them. Cuz I mean this fight has casual fan interest in a way I've never seen before so they are for sure the people who are likely throwing the most money at this fight. And idk that those guys wane down the closer we get to the fight. They could even become more plentiful as we creep towards Aug. 26.
And the MMA fans, who seldom see lines in excess of +500 on UFC cards, see this +700ish line & just can't believe Conor is THAT big a dog like he's Darrell Horcher to Floyd's Khabib & are acting accordingly.
It'll be an interesting thing to watch & that's why I already made a thread about the line & props cuz I wanted to monitor how much they changed over the next 8 weeks.
