He was definitely dumb for asking about the shoulder / body attacks in front of a representative of the opposing camp. As to the late wrapping and coming in cold, that **** can just happen, few fights go 100% according to plan - it does all suggest a degree of chaos within team Kovalev though. IDK whether coming in cold affected the fight - I always assumed that after the first few rounds (where Kovalev did just fine) you'd be warmed up anyway, but then I've never had the experience of fighting at a high intensity for more than about 3 rounds so I couldn't say for sure.

I always remember the post fight interview with kostya tszyu after the zab fight where he says he noticed zab came in cold...no sweat on him at all. He said he knew then he could catch him fast.
