A circus sideshow "There's a sucker born every minute". I doubt it will hurt boxing in the long run, but it will hurt the pocket book of anyone ****** enough to see it.

If McGregor lasts 1 round what more 12 rounds and still standing. That will hurt boxing a lot, since the self proclaimed TBE boxer can't even dent a novice boxer who is suppose to be fighting his first pro fight. That will leave a mark for all eternity. Floyd is suppose to win big anything less than a KO will ruin boxing.
Floyd represents boxing here. He's the ambassador of the sport. An underwhelming performance will leave a big stain in boxing as a sport. Since the supposed boxing elite can't even finish of a non boxer fighting in his debut fight. Showing a lame boring cat and mouse fight will see draw a lot of flake for casuals who wanted to see what boxing is about. Knowing Floyd he will be in another stink bomb borefest fight. This will be the nail in the coffin for those casuals fans wanted to see what boxing is about. They will detest this money grab fight and boxing as a whole will be damaged for Floyd's shameful representation of boxing.
McGregor being competitve in this fight even if he loses he still wins. On the other hand, even if Floyd wins but in a lucklaster borefest. Is a loss for Floyd and the essenceof boxing as a whole.Last edited by Spoon23; 06-23-2017, 07:20 AM.

He's terrified McGregor will crack Floyd and put him out just like fishnets, Floyd's retired he can come back and fight two wrestling midgets if he wants will it affect boxing, no. The catch weight champ should be worried about what ggg is gonna do to him then what Floyd's doing

All this is, is a **** measuring contest. When Gay wins, boxing fans will say "see I told you this sport is dominant" or vise versa.
Plus this is a boxing fight, it's not like they're going to have a couple of MMA fights to try and lure boxing fans in.
When Gay wins in his usual boring way, not only will this turn off MMA fans but casuals as well. This is going to be Gay/Pac 2.0. Over hyped, over stuffed circus that will fail to deliver excitement and drama.
