  • Will Anre Ward be back in the ring later this year?

Do you think Andre Ward fight again in 2017 or do we have to wait till next year to see Ward fight?

Ummm. Yeah Beterbiev looks like the top rated guy for the IBF, then there's Bivol and Cleverly as the Interim and Regular for the WBA and Boesel (who? I'm clearly not the obsessive I once was) for the WBO with Beterbiev next in line.

That said I see Beterbiev being more willing to go the WBC route and Stevenson being his prefered opponent for promotional reasons. It's a fight I wouldn't mind seeing though. Bivol is reportedly out for the remainer of the year but he does look fairly promising. Too green I'd say but I don't have many better suggestions for Dre at 175... Clev maybe, Alvarez, Jack, Gvozdyk - no one that really stands out as a name opponent except Stevenson. I guess it depends on Ward and on whether he's happy to work for what are likely to be greatly diminished purses.

            That's the match-up I hope for.

He fought 3x last year so I imagine he'll get in at least 2 this year.

Not sure if true or not but I don't see negotiations going too well...

Nah. He made $6.5 million. What's the incentive?

Still want to see the Stevenson fight. I'm not really sure why Andre doesn't seem interested in it though.
