seems like just yesterday....reputations are fleeting though

kovalev was the man that was going to dismantle ward...not once but twice...instead was humbled and broken down himself....

and canelo was a chicken that wasnt that good....now hes being built up in case he loses and it becomes a legendary win for his opponent because his opponent desperately needs one

i used to think ggg would crush canelo...but now im not convinced of that..while i still think golovkin has the edge......

it just always cracks me how these golovkin fans tore canelo a new one all day for over a year....now want him to be some p4p monster once its signed.......

it always cracked me up the way guys said ward wouldnt show...would drop out...and didnt want a rematch....

You are rewriting history to suit your self. Kovalev did win the first Ward fight in most viewer's opinions. He was winning the rematch until the last couple of rounds when Ward weakened him with hard body punches and low blows. Weeks gave Ward a KO win when he should have been giving Kovalev up to 5 minutes to recover from low blows. After viewing replays Weeks admitted his mistake. I am a huge fan of BOTH GGG and Canelo. GGG has tons of fans. You make the common mistake of painting all his fans with the same brush. You assume they all think alike and post alike. Each GGG fan is different from other GGG fans and they don't all think alike and post alike. GGG doesn't need Canelo to be falsely built up so he becomes a good opponent. GGG is the best middleweight in the world. The three other best middleweights are Jacobs, Canelo and Lemieux. He has already defeated Jacobs and Lemieux and he is fighting Canelo next. GGG vs Canelo is the real McCoy. It's boxing's best fight between two of boxing's best fighters. It needs no phony build up because it is the real deal.
