I wouldn't call that first statement anything meaningful because it doesn't clarify anything. Sure Lou might not have been involved but that really isn't to say any of Wilder's people are either.

If it was something along the lines of maybe you should give Al Haymon or Jay Deas a call that gives a clear picture of who he has been talking to and that he was serious. not a throwaway line that is meant to sound like something but carries little meaning without actually backing it up~
