I dontr think Steward would be a good choice for a agressive fighter like Kovalev. Cotto did not perform well at all under him for example. I think Roach would be a good trainer for Kovalev but only if hes willing to learn and listen.

Wrong. Sanchez has stated this multiple times through the last few years, saying that Kovalev was difficult to train way back in 2011.

Here's one article from 2015, and another from 2016:

You can tell Kovalev doesn't respect trainers. In the 24/7 episode he said that he does everything himself and Jackson only holds the pads. No matter how good you are you can't beat the elite without getting some good training. Cotto had to learn that the hard way too when he lattes ways with his uncle. Maybe Kovalev will learn also.

When I heard Kovalev say that, I frowned. In both fights, it showed that he doesn't listen. I think Jackson would have given him great information and instructions during training and the fight.
