Agree. But it does show that Golovkin is not only ground and pound. He does have some dimension to his arsenal. And yes Canelo trying to outbox Floyd was a fatal mistake.

Don't bet money on that bud, just saying. Pacquaio dropped Cotto, Canelo couldn't and Golovkin ain't no Cotto or kirkland or smith.

Not the best comparison given that Cotto was weight drained for the Pacquiao fight.

Canelo beats the vastly over rated GGG fairly easy-watch

Canelo will beats GGG fairly easily as GGG has been over rated for years fighting bums and no names till Jacobs who is okay not near great. Bet Canelo to win the fight out right and collect. Thank me later. GGG is not that good.

Canelo actually has developed great footwork & movement for his style, hes never going to have lara type footwork, BECAUSE he should never want to. Footwork can be a waste of energy to fighters like Canelo/Spence/Tank Davis, hes a counter power puncher, they sit on their shots to hurt u & are willing to take some to give some.

Fighters like Jacobs/wade/etc. try to use more footwork because they either have glass chin or are weaker punchers. It amazes me that people actually BELIEVE certain fighters like tank/nelo/Spence dont have so called great footwork/fast feet etc. & that its due to them being unable to develop it.

That's imbecilic, their footwork is by design, they are best suited to that style BECAUSE their monsters with killer bodywork,& have a granite chin. It would waste unnecessary energy & weaken their punches if they did that & the result is know nothings will claim their footwork sucks, just like they claim gigi has great footwork, despite his deficiency going backwards or fighting himself out of combos.
You're missing out that some fighters are just elite athletes and have tremendous athleticism which leads to quick feet and great coordination. At elite level Canelo isn't that with his foot movement. But when it comes to fast hand combinations and eye hand coordination he is getting up there to elite status.

Golovkin is not elite athletic but he has learned effective footwork through probably thousands of hours of drills. Plus his style has changed over the years. Regardless whether Canelo beats Golovkin or not he could learn from him on how to close a ring better because Golovkin is a master at doing that and would mean Canelo would struggle less with the slicksters in the future.

That's what it is starting to look like. I'm beginning to think that there is a HUGE betting scam being orquestrated via off-shore bank accounts.

Does anyone realise how easy it would be for a top judge or refereee to be made the beneficiary of an offshore company in say the BVI and then use that company as a shareholder in a company set up in Panama. That is easy to fix. And not likely to be discovered.

Edit: - but most likely it isn't betting - just the casinos and/or promoters paying off refs in the same way. Wonder if CJ Ross has a nice villa in the Dominican Republic?

If I was K2 and abel sanchez i'd be working for the ko too. Jab and body, jab and body because Canelo's head movement is very very good. Plus GGG is not out countering Canelo.
