GGG: Canelo might be my last fight

KO KING Gennady Golovkin has warned that his blockbuster showdown with Canelo Alvarez could be the last time he steps into the ring. Triple G was taken the full 12 rounds for the first time in nine…

Admitting the Jacobs fight showed the decline, are we?

Agreed, he's aging for sure. Been eating shots. "Street fights" don't bode well for longevity in boxing.

Cashing out, knows he's going to lose to the first A level fighter he's fought.

If he wins it'll be a good end to a long career. If he loses...history won't be kind.

Damn man. I forget he's in his mid 30s. I hate that he didn't get to the championship level until late in his career.

He's getting old quickly. His style doesn't facilitate longevity.

this has been his plan all along.. it was obvious he wanted the biggest pay day and not "all the belts" bs that his fans ate up.. you dont take step aside after step aside and claim you want the belts

Canelo is going to retire him. Golovkin was looking the chunkiest ever at the recent promo photoshoot. After this loss he'll lose any motivation to continue.

Fighters with his style don't have long careers.

He knows Canelo will finish the job Jacobs started and expose him for the fraud that he is.

How are you going to market yourself after you get exposed and everyone finds out you're a one-dimensional fighter?
