Like any ref, fans will be fickle towards him. It's a tough job. I've seen him hailed as a top 3 ref, but right now the same people would tell you he's the worst. The job is not for everybody.

Overall I don't have a problem with him. He lets fighters fight. I thought his stoppage was premature, and he can sometimes be inconsistent. But honestly, he's nowhere near the level of incompetence as Joe Cortez, Jay Nady or Richard Steele.

You forgot to mention Kenny Bayless but other than that I agree.
