Kickboxing. And I've seen make poor decisions there as well. He gets hired by combat sports just because he's been in it for over 2 decades.

Overall I don't have a problem with him. He lets fighters fight. I thought his stoppage was premature, and he can sometimes be inconsistent. But honestly, he's nowhere near the level of incompetence as Joe Cortez, Jay Nady or Richard Steele.

I've questioned some of his calls in the past but, overall, I like refs like him who aren't constantly getting involved. Ward was surprised (and frustrated) that Weeks was breaking them up so quickly. I think he expected Tony to let them grind it out.
