It's funny how posters talk about being "purists" and mostly none of you have ever put on a pair of gloves or seen any boxing prior to Floyd and Manny. That's just the lastest excuse for the deep rooted resentment for Mayweather. (Coming from mostly dudes who've under achieved in life or the racially/ethnically motivated bunch imo) No one cares. Most of you don't buy PPVs anyway. I'll be paying for that fight along with the Alvarez-GGG fight and any other fight That's worthy of my attention. (I'd pay for Mikey and Broner too.) Why? Because I support boxing. It's significant that MMAs brightest star is coming over to boxing. It's an admission of the superiority of the sport (at least financially anyway).

I'm a casual? Pretty sure I've seen more boxing and been in the gym more than 90% of the posters on this site. I'm pretty objective with my post assessment of the sport (check my post history) imo. I'm a "*****" because I'm telling the truth (you're definitely watching the fight). And what I said about the Mayweather whiners is a pretty accurate assessment of the community of people who obsess over crying about his every move. If you watch boxing you clearly know there's people out there who only support boxers from their ethnic group. Its always been that way; that's not an extreme statement. I don't what you race you are btw, but I guess you took offense to that part of the post. Oh well.

And when did I defend his retirement? This "fight" isn't about competition, it's about money plain and simple. That's doesn't mean it's not entertaining. Floyd fought quite a few no hopers over the years.
