Floyd also wasn't flailing around the ring doing the chicken dance, hands down, not defending himself, taking multiple unanswered shots, bent over in fetal position crying for the ref to save him!

why would floyd do that if maidana didnt low blow him? point is, floyd stopped and motion to the ref to do something about it. that can be seen as "floyd quitting" same shiiet yall is saying about kov. and by the way im not a kov fan. the ref should have just let it play out, imo ward was on his way to a victory.

Hey we should probably have some sympathy, Kovalev was suppose to their unbeatable champion...he was the guy that was suppose to beat Andre Ward! Remember how they didn't want Ward calling out Golovkin and that he was scared to move up to light heavy and face Sergey? Floyd was using elbows and forearms the entire fight. Pushing off too. Yes, he was fighting dirty, he actually uses his forearms and elbows quite frequently but rarely if ever gets warned. He's got the same boxing guardian angels as Ward.
