I think they feel that it doesnt make a differnce because Cotto & Malignaggi arent big names anyway so only the people that really like them will buy that fight and it doesnt matter about the Hopkins fight.

For example, if there wasnt no Hopkins fight then do you think alot of people will buy the Cotto fight? It will be about the same if there was or wasnt a Hopkins fight.

Also, I dont think that people are dying to buy this Hopkins-Tarver fight like you seem to think. Most mainstream fans could care less about either and Hopkins just lost twice in a row. I think most will say that I'll watch it next week when it comes on TV

Actually, the Cotto fight was scheduled before the Hopkins fight but Golden Boy decided to take on Arum for the date. I don't care about the two geriatric bastards fighting, to be honest.

They put the Malig fight on ppv against the Tarver?Hopkins bout? They must be really ignorant to believe that Malig/Cotto can compete with Tarver/Hopkins in ppv numbers.

are you sick. the Paulie/Cotto fight will outsell the Tarver/Hopkins card. Its during the weekend of the Puerto Rican day parade in NY. Cotto has a strong following of Latin fans.
