Usyk is obviously not going to join. The tournament is for fighters who can't get fights or are trying to build their name, because the tournament will give them a lot of exposure (hopefully).

I'd expect fighters like Vlasov, Kudryashov or Arslan to step in instead.

I only found one source regarding usyks purses. Dont know how reliable, but he supposedly only earned 75k against mchunu. The pay out for the tournament is much higher than his recent earnings and why should he miss out to fight against high quality opposition.

I think he expressed his desire to unify and then move up to heavyweight. Lebedev is in my opinion not a legitimate title holder anymore. So with usyk, all relevant champions are taking part. Really awesome stuff.

Yunier Dorticos is a hell of a fighter and I wont be surprise if he gets to the grand final.

Usyk is in negotiations about participating already

Add Kudryashov, Perez, Lebedev and Tabiti (somebody has to respresent US)

That's one of the best recent news in boxing world for me. Briedis and Usyk are favorites
