Comments Thread For: Canelo: Golovkin One-Dimensional; I Thought He Lost to Jacobs

I thought Jacobs won that fight
But whatever, The powers that be weren't going to derail Gennady/Canelo unless it was a clear victory for Jacobs
Like Canelo has any room to say sh.it he lost to Lara and would get embarrassed by Jacobs. Oscar knows this that's why the last 2 years his resume consists of Khan, Smith & Chavez
And in Sept Canelo is going to get executed by Gennady.

If you think now that Jacobs is slick because he was out boxing GGG just wait to see how much faster and "slick" Canelo will look against the slow easy to hit GGG. Canelo's hand speed, accuracy, and defense will have GGG freezing and forced to reset all night long. He will look like a deer in headlights and will be outboxed.
It could very well be a tossup, but then, who has more power... Canelo or Brook? Because Brook definitely had GGG freezing for a couple rounds there. I expect Canelo to do the same basic thing, along with some other bits that will confuse GGG. It will be a tough fought UD for Canelo IMO.

He was walking in with his hands down in the Brook fight and not using his jab. He didnt respect Brooks power and was soley trying to catch him and get him outta there & in the process Brook landed his best shots. It was very similar to how he fought against Willie Monore.
With Danny GGG kept his hands up and kept his jab pumping all night because he respected Jacobs power, He fought similar in the Lemieux fight. Expect him to do the same with Canelo, he won't just walk in face first

Originally posted by Dr Kewl Hair View PostI'm seeing it similar. Canelo is going to get a highlight reel of counter punches against GGG, digging with uppercuts and hooks to the body to slow him down, I don't think Canelo pushes for the stoppage once he tires though unless he catches him with one good shot and sees him in trouble.
GGG should just put earmuffs on and get stuck in every second of every round. Push Canelo to the ropes and the limit.

Stop it, Canelo said he was ready after Cotto, wouldn't negotiate. Ask for an interim knowing when he fought Khan there was a 15 day period. Canelo team broke negotiation off until after Khan, then used it as an excuse to duck ggg. Only after Mexican media butt ****d him did he make up these court case excuses.
Gomez could have negotiated that fight. Hell, after vacated he could too, but instead went for a domestic U.K. Fighter.
Khan, Smith, two highlight reels KO to help sell the right.
They were hoping ggg slowed at 35 while selling better. Ok, but stop pretending it's anything but.
You're gonna ****ing feel salty if ggg at 35 skunks Canelo. Then what, that limited fighter is what, too big for your prime Ginger.
This isn't Cotto, Khan, Smith, Kirkland, Zombie Chavez. Even at 35 GGG will be the most dangerous fighter Canelo has fought.
It's the same prefight scenario with all these guys. They mouth off posturing about Golovkin's this, Golovkin's that, he's been exposed blah blah blah. Meanwhile Golovkin sits back, remains respectful of his opponents and then delivers a beat down to every one of them.
