What is with the false dichotomy from the alt right/brexit set here on NSB?

Is boxing corrupt-yes. Was this a bad stoppage-probably. Was this fight indicative of corruption-no. This fight was the classic tale of a bully who folded when he couldn't intimidate anymore.

I think weeks saw kov fake a low blow once where the shot was legal but borderline, had proceeded to treat him like boy who cried wolf. The stoppage was still bs though.
I think or should I say more importantly Weeks knew the legal shots were hurting Kovalev and that when he stopped the fight he stopped it on the pretence it wasn't the first time Krusher was not protecting himself in the fight.

First and foremost Weeks is there to protect the fighters when he saw Kovalev was not protecting himself a second time he called it, i see the controversy but I don't ageee with it, fan boys are choosing to overlook Kovalev was done.

I can't fathom why anyone would think this was rigged, Kovalev gave him multiple opportunities to stop the fight and that's what he did. Notice Ward knocked down when he was hurt last fight ? Me too, that's what you do when hurt fight back, Kovalev slumped his body language said 'Im done'

Look of course these things are set up. Anyone who works in business knows this. I used to work at a tv business and most game shows are set up, most talk shows r fabricated. I mean anything that's pop culture and generates money these days simply has too much investment behind it for it to be left to chance. I absolutely agree, not talking any specific one fight but I believe boxing in general is a fixed storyline.
          Correct in every way, man.

Considering the fight is 100x bigger, which 100x more money involved...

You won't get any serious replies though, just a bunch of fangirls posting cry/salty gifs.

'we winning' ward ruining lives etc."peeleft:
Haha. They're like a team of lawyers lined up...

The narrative is built in by the media, the commentators and the build up. Excellent post.

I notice how you focus on the bully narrative. Haha. Hook, line and sinker.

Good post. You're probably right about Weeks' skepticism about the last blow(s) going low being related to Kov bellyaching after beltline shots moments earlier.

Sounds exactly like those guys in the streets who are borderline casuals and after every big fight, you hear them arguing that it was rigged.
