Are we underrating the fact that Joshua beat Wladimir in his 19th fight?

Seriously how many wins for any fighter under 20 fights was more impressive?

I know Leon Spinks beat Ali, but the Wlad that lost to Joshua would have destroyed the Ali that lost to Spinks..... Other than Spinks-Ali, I can't think of ANY wins a Heavyweight have had prior to his 20th fight that is remotely close to the Wlad win Joshua got.

I was quite impressed. Also people underestimate how much Joshua would have learned from this fight. This was his first fight over 7 rounds I believe. He's only going to get better and better from now on.

Prior to the Wlad fight I favored Pulev, Ortiz, and Wilder to beat Joshua, now I expect him to easily defeat Ortiz and Pulev, and I'm favoring Joshua over Wilder

It's an excellent victory, but Vlad was old and the HW division has ****** for ages. I hope Joshua's win ushers in a new era of more exciting fights. Joshua could shape up to be a great heavyweight.

Thats kinda the point, AJ is just as green as Wlad is past it.

He fought 40 odd pro rounds prior to the Wlad fight. People act like he's in his prime but he's 3-4 year and 10-12 high level fights from reaching his peak.

So while todays AJ doesn't beat a prime Wlad you could also ask whether anyone thinks AJ with 10 more fights and 3 more pro years has any problem with that Wlad ?
