I disagree with your claim that Canelo carries 90% of the drawing power. Golovkin has done quite well @ MSG, selling out more than once. He's a superstar in boxing and the other side of the equation which = the biggest boxing match out there right now. To relegate GGG to only 10% star power is a joke. Besides, Alvarez's argument was that he didn't want the WBC to dictate whom or when he fights.

I totally agree with canelo. The wbc ****ed him hard with the purse in order to take away the belt from him. Was I canelo, I would never ever fight for that ****ty belt anymore in my life.

Canelo is bigger than the belt at this point. He doesn't need the WBC and there's no reason to put money in their pocket.

Especially when they tried to force him into a situation where GGG would have gotten a bigger purse split than he deserved, while Canelo had his hands full in court.

so in other words he didn't duck vada while being the ibf champ for the last 2 years.

first it was he ducking vada by fighting for the wbc, but when I point out he was taking vada with the ibf, you say oh because his brother was wbc.

that doesn't change the fact that he was ibf

He's only 26 and already fought more top guys at 154 then anybody else and he's now fighting the top guy at 160 who ESPN has ranked as #1 P4P in the world to say he's ducking guys is just plain ****** at this point.

bro your resume doesn't exclude you from a duck .

you give up your belt to avoid a mandatory. that's a duck

All WBC can do is take money from canelo if he fights for them. WBC gets way more out of it than Canelo.

I understand that but the WBC helped Canelo before to fight for their title at catchweight and ranking Mathew Hatton at 154 I think it was. They did helped him. And then Canelo vs GGG was supposed to happen and the purse split that the WBC suggested was fair. Canelo, plain and simple, as Eric Gomez stated before was not ready for GGG so why in the blue heavens Canelo go on a live event, in front of thousands, calling GGG to the ring and say mexicans don't **** around, and we're not afraid and hype everyone including the WBC and then **** himself and duck the fight saying the WBC pressured him when he knew damn well he just wasn't prepared. Why not say "sorry but Im not at that level yet, take the belt and let him fight the next best guy. Ill fight him 2-3 fights down the line". He would've saved himself a lot of ***** just by being honest.
