What would Canelo be sorry for? He certainly isn't the first fighter to tell a sanctioning body to go **** themselves.

If Canelo wins then he must face Charlo. Canelo ducked and will go on ducking Charlo.

Charlo ain't shet! What has he done? Canelo will **** up both Charlos on the same night

With names as big as theirs why does a belt even matter.

He was never going to fight him anyway, now that he has beef with the wbc it gives him even more a reason to duck him because we (the fans) won't be able to use that 'unification' angle to pressure him into fighting Charlo.

I wanted Canelo to win this fight but now I'm changing my stance. It will be better for me, and the sport if GGG wins so that GGG will have to fight his mandatory (Charlo after he smashes Heiland in the eliminator).

This way we'll have potentially five good fights at middleweight (GGG vs Canelo, GGG vs Canelo rematch, GGG vs Charlo mandatory, and GGG vs Jacobs rematch win or lose against Charlo).

Saunders is somewhere in there too if GGG beats Canelo, he'll unify with the Charlo vs GGG winner or Jacobs vs Charlo winner (if Jacobs wins rematch).

Of course, this being boxing and it's politics and duckerage tendencies (and robberies), we might not get it the way it's supposed to go, but one can hope.

Canelo is staying firm so far, hopefully he keeps it that way. WBC tried to do him dirty while he was in court.

                    I don't think so

pretty sure it would become vacant ?

not 100% on the WBC, good point

I remember when John Hopoate was stripped by Australian Boxing for losing a non-title fight.....

Lebedev was still champ after losing to Gassiev, and Klitschko would have still been WBA/WBO champ even if he had lost to Pulev
