Idk if he does it purposely so much as he just doesn't give a f#ck about weight as much as he should as a professional boxer. The biggest problem with Broner I think one could argue is his general lack of focus on his career & missing weight is just a byproduct of that more than some sorta goal he sets.

i think he just doesn't give a shit because he knows he'll get away with it, but vs the granados. with garcia is a different story, he'll be penalized i think.

Yea idk about that. I think his performances & behaviors out of the ring suggest bigger problems then too many cheeseburgers in training camp to push boundaries with other fighters, commissions, promoters &/or abc groups. I'm pretty sure Broner is the only active boxer I've seen eat nachos like he was a homeless person who hadn't eaten in days.

But yea Mikey was smart to get a $500k penalty if Broner comes in over. Thats a couple nice houses to flip for Mikey if it happens. I'd bet Mikey is even kinda hoping he does come in over.

I don't think so. He just tends to be a lazy fuc up. I think being a 5 to 1 underdog has given him a reality check. He can see that he is not as highly regarded as he thought he was. I think this time he will train hard and make weight. He knows how important this fight is.

This is scary...he better make weight...

I think what he's trying to say is that when he knows he can't make weight he usually has Al Haymon call the other team and offer a new contract and new weight limit and a little more pay for their troubles. But being that Broner's pay remains unaffected, he didn't care about being "over", especially now that the new contract states the fight will take place at 143 or 144 lbs.
