Kovalev pulled some Andre Dirrell/Adrien Broner level stunt against Ward!

The first shot was not a low and Kov almost went down. This was as bad as Andre Dirrell in either one of his oscar winners.

People forget he was dropped to the body against Caparello or Pascal I think.

Weeks was absolutely awful though. Should have been given a KD as Kov sitting on the ropes due the one legit low blow. If the roles were reversed an Kov won in exactly the same way Ward did,Ward supporters eiuld be spiting blood though.

Have to call a spade a spade about Kov though.

Weeks was horrendous but I think Kovalev just didn't have the mental game to come through that fight. Strongly suspect his conditioning work is not where it needs to be either.

Neither caparello nor pascal dropped kovalev with a body shot.
Caparello did drop kovalev with a left to the head, but it was due to kovalev being offbalance. Kovalev then dropped Caparello with a right to the body.

Its possible it was vs Agnew then. Can't remember the exact fight but near the right corber Kov was coming in and got dropped to his knees as if he was hit low.

        Can you rememeber the fight?

Was it counted as a knockdown? Im not sure, Ive only seen him dropped by Caparello and supposedly by Darnell Boone, but there is no footage of the fight.

No the ref rules it low and let Kov take a short break.

Moises Flores was the only one who did any acting on that fight card. Kovalev was actually hurt really bad to the body. Maybe he was trying to sell them as low blows but we all know they weren't as low as he tried to make them seem.

Flores on the other hand, he got cracked with a punch as he was throwing one himself, then was held up by the ref as he regained his balance. Then a split second after he realized it might have been after the bell and just went down like a sack of potatoes and spread his arms out like he had just died.

I saw that. Dirrell wishes he was as good an actor as Flores haha

It was actually hilarious and it's like no one noticed or something because no one is talking about it lmao. Roy Jones and Malignaggi were the only ones who seemed to catch what he did and say something.
