Former WBC cruiserweight champion Tony Bellew (29-2-1, 19 KOs) is more than willing to provide Andre Ward (32-0, 16 KOs) with the opportunity to test his skills at a higher weight. Ward returned to the ring last Saturday night and stopped Sergey Kovalev in the eight round of their rematch at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. With the victory Ward retained the WBA, WBO, IBF light heavyweight titles.

Ward wants a title though, but Ward beats Bellew. It would be a good testing the waters fight and Bellew is #3 ranked at CW.

It's funny too because they were supposed to fight in Creed but Pretty Ricky Conlan hit Ward in a press conference and the fight was called off.

Interesting fight as they both need to wise up with talk of Wilder and AJ. they would both get badly hurt in those fights.Ward could maybe still make s.middle and Tony beat a shopworn finished David Haye but the fight has traction ...Ward for me.

More realistic size wise than Joshua. But for a career ending cash grab giving all he's got not laying down Ward would lose 6'0 to 6'6, 210 the most to 260, 71' reach to 82.

He woukd make 10x the money against Joshua than Bellew. He would win a few rounds out boxing him until the devestating end. But for a career ender $20 mil why not
