this Yormack guy forgetting that boxing is only just recovering from the Floyd-Pac dud - and that wasn't even a mismatch. Boxing has been doing great this year without Floyd-McGregor. Continue putting on great fights and the word will be out to the casuals but burn the casuals at the box office and there's another year or two of low ppvs.

One thing that I absolutely agree with is that we (legitimate boxing fans) should use this time to try to bring casual fans into the sport. We can *****, cry, and complain about the fight happening or we can use it as an opportunity to grow the sport. If you don't want to watch it, don't. However, harping on the bad fights takes away from the great fights we have gotten this year. Use the MayGregor fight as a way to show people other fights. Direct attention to the other great fights Showtime has put up this year. The constant complaining only turns people off from the sport.

ok, so how do we know he wasn't high when he sent his open letter to fans? Either way, yes mayweather vs mcgregor is a cash grab that won't be competitive. But so was Canelo vs khan and Canelo vs Chavez jr. Despite experience, anybody who knows boxing knew those 2 guys had as much chance of beating Canelo as McGregor does of beating mayweather. 0
