By a boxing standpoint Fury is correct. Never was he in danger or dropped. He outboxed and outfoxed Wlad. Action wise Joshua won in more exciting fashion but also showed he can be badly hurt and nearly finished. Fury victory is better he didnt have to stop him because he had the fight going how he wanted all 12. Why take a risk? It is the same boring fashion as a Mayweather win.

Anthony Joshua needs to respect his god-father Tyson Fury because if it wasnt for that performance that he is now criticizing A.J would not be where he is! all the millions of dollar ( or Pounds ) all the praise and accolades came to Anthony because Fury took Wlads soul almost two years before Joshua got to a old Klitschko. The Joshua fight was one of the best fights of this generation so I agree.

It is how you win.

What most fans really want is a 50/50 fight that turns out to be 50/50 in the ring with both men performing at their highest level that is the ideal. It can't get better than Joshua/Klitschko realistically.

Fury nullified Wlad and never looked like losing so I guess from a competitors point of view it's better but I'm a fan - sitting on my couch with a beer in my hand.

I will watch a genuine 50/50 professional boxing fight at any level from Wlad/Josh to two journeyman with losing records going against each other hammer and tongs to get a victory. Sport, man! Not business.

I guess that opinion would change if I was a fan of one fighter but that's not my thing. I like Kell Brook but I wouldn't say I was fan. I guess I have a soft spot for George Groves and I like Canelo. But if their wiping someone out who is overmatched I'll still want the underdog to upset. As long as everyone comes out of the fight safe I'm good.

Haven't really been a fan of a fighter since Joe Calzaghe when I was a kid.

Joshua was one punch away from being KTFO. Fury utterly schooled Wlad in his own backyard, back when Wlad was a champion & hadn't been out of the ring for two years.

Tyson completely shut down Wlad in a clinic as opposed to AJ in a close tough fought war just because he got the ko doesn't equal a more convincing victory. Tyson similar in what Mayweather does minimizes risk and does enough and that is boxing. He never needs to chase a KO. If AJ ****** him out in a few rounds of course i would think differently

Of course it is better, in the course of history the Joshua vs Vlad fight will be replayed over and over and held up as a great contest. I don't think even Fury would want to ever watch his fight with Vlad again. It definitely wasn't a clinic, a clinic is like Mayweather vs Canelo. Fury vs Vlad was a race to the bottom over who could do the least.
