The end of the Eastern European Era...

A very short-lived "Era" in boxing.

Crawford vs Postol - American Victory

Joshua vs Klitschko - British Victory

Ward vs Kovalev - American Victory

Canelo vs Golovkin - Mexican Victory?

I hope Canelo understands the significance of this fight we are engaged in.

Sorry to wake you up out of your wet dream but there are future amateur stars, future pros, and future champs coming along all the time from those places and they will always have their share of the pie as well. And your little "British, American, and Mexican" victory pitch is useless because each of those European guys in that list has beaten many fighters from those countries as well as many others. The Russian fighters like everyone else is on the scene and just like all other fighters, they are not going anywhere, and they will get their share of success.

Who is this "we" you speak of??? And what is "engaged in"??? And why are you acting like this is some war??? And if you think the "significance" is some sort of boxing species elimination, you are in for a long rude awakening.

I got a laugh out of the word "short" too as if all fighters can keep a title for 10 years, and as if 10 years was a piece of cake, LOL.

Wladimir Klitschko is the greatest heavyweight boxer in history, with unparalleled domination never seen before by any other boxer. Him losing at the age of 41 to a 26 year old power puncher with a 100% KO record, whilst surviving longer than any of his other previous opponents is more a testament to his greatness than negativity. In fact, it's less embarrassing for Wlad to lose to Joshua at that stage of his career than for Muhammad Ali to lose to Larry Holmes or Trevor Berbick at a much younger age.

Wladimir Klitschko at this stage of his career was already on his way out of boxing anyway. So him losing at the age of 41 is anything but 'short lived era'. His longevity and all round heavyweight boxing accomplishments / record is unparalleled and the margin by which he won his fights are things which has never previously or since been replicated.

Everything else in your list is totally irrelevant!

Klitschko lost to Fury before he lost to Joshua anyway. So why not bring up that loss in the OP?

They're here to stay. Phenomenal amateur programs. Just need to adapt to the pro game which you see more of a variety of styles and more inside fighting.

Apparently you forgot about Lomachenko and a number of really good Eastern Euro guys coming up.

Crawford vs Postol - American Victory

Postol wasn't one of the best Eastern European boxers.

Joshua vs Klitschko - British Victory

                    Klitschko is age 41.

Ward vs Kovalev - American Victory

Kov won the first fight & was robbed, ref stopped 2nd after low blows

Canelo vs Golovkin - Mexican Victory?

Golovkin is from Central Asia. His father was White, like Ward but he's no more East European than Ward is Irish.
