man, if there was ever a fight to make somebody a Hopkins fan, this 2nd Echols fight was it. but after this he turned into a big ***** and we all know the story from Trinidad on. Hopkins is only now trying to appeal to the public and that's only because Tarver destroyed boxing's adonis, Roy Jones Jr. So most of the public hates Tarver. He was booed in his ****in hometown against Roy so put it together. Hopkins sucks in the good guy role and Tarver's gonna hand him his ass.

hey ferocity, keep in mind this fight was SIX YEARS AGO when Hopkins actually fought every minute of every round

yeah, but i don't see tarver ko'ing hopkins and tarver tires in the later rounds and hopkins still has air in the later rounds.

and seeing them stand in front of each other tarver wont have the height advantage and that is a disadvantage for tarver.

        round 10 is great

Yeah that's rolling the clock back too far.

I'm picking Hopkins to win the fight, but in a really boring, tactical affair. Apparently both fighters are claiming there's going to be fireworks...but I don't buy it.

Tarver will either try and throw pitter patter punches to stay busy like he did against Johnson, or he'll just revert to his hesitant and boring style.

Hopkins will more than likely not want to absorb too much punishment, considering Tarver does punch fairly hard. He'll assume the role of counterpuncher, and should make Tarver pay.

Win or lose Hopkins is an all time middleweight great in my book.

if hopkins age doesn't catch up to him theirs no reason he can't trade with tarver, after all the extra weight will only help him, its not going to hurt him, he actually looks like a natural light heavyweight, im sure he put on the weight easily dispite what the reports are

I think they're replaying at 5am or something, and i'm sure they'll play it again next weekend. That Hopkins fight was a foul contest, but Echols was being a punk, he spent more time crying to the ref then fighting and you know Hopkins had to take that shot.
