Canelo appeared not to recognise Saunders at all.

Then Saunders asked Gennady about not fighting him and Gennady told him to be quiet as he is not a promoter. Saunders told Gennady that he lost a pen not to fight him.

Saunders has been a cherry picking champion so far. He could have been GGG's opponent instead of Brook but he chose not to accept the offer. He could fight Jacobs or Lemieux now but he won't fight them. He does have a middleweight world title belt. That belt will probably get him a nice payday with the Canelo-GGG winner.
