It could have been a NC but no DQ unless the referee called the shot(s)intentional after the bell, which he didn't. I think Paulie made too much of the KO, if you watch, Flores was going down then got pushed by the referee and fell onto the referee before hitting the canvas. Only boxers know this but there can be a fractional second disconnect between the punch and the legs, a shot like that and Flores in a second is clear enough to think and decide to take the canvas and get a DQ, no. Paulie was a boxer, he should know but after he started the train down the tracked he stayed with it, the video is clear evidence that the referee interrupted his fall. I say let the KO stand, they had plenty of time to converse and at no point did the referee indicate an INTENTIONAL foul after the bell, uniforms rules says that the fighter can not be saved by the bell.

Here's the rub NSAC's- Bennett watches film of Riggo/Flores but refused to watch film of Ward/Kovalez.

I been saying it since it happened doesn't matter if he dove doesn't matter who would have gotten hit the right decision was a no decision and a rematch it's in the rules . If a fighter is unable to continue due to an unintentional foul (such as trading at the bell) then the fight is a NC.

Hope the rematch is quick .

If a rematch I think the outcome is the same, Flores has got nothing for Riggo but a bulls eye on his chin.
