Like anything was ever going to come of the complaints. The only shot we've seen that could've strayed low was the very last one, and that isn't the reason the fight was stopped.

Hauser works for HBO. Literally. He really doesn't even have a title. He just writes occasionally to bash anyone not with HBO. He will randomly make stuff up. Like USADA walking in on Mayweather and catching him doing something illegal. Mayweather called USADA himself, asked them to come, and had them check everything and give the go ahead. And that is what they did. Hauser knew this, but Floyd cost HBO untold fortunes by jumping to Showtime. It doesn't even matter that it was all a lie, because the people who already hated Floyd saw it and keep repeating it, because they think it justifies their hatred.

Kov will only fight on HBO. Even when he could make more money having one fight on a different network. Ward and Roc Nation can fight on any network they please. Which means Ward-Stevenson will almost certainly be televised by Showtime. Which means Lederman and Lampley won't get ringside seats. Thus, HBO pays Hauser to be a writing hitman, to pump up their, HBO's, fighter.

And while Hauser and HBO are thinking up more lies to tell, Mayweather is bathing in $100 bills, Haymon is doing better than ever, and Ward is laughing enjoying his victory.
