I think the best thing he said was IDK why the referee stopped the fight because neither do I dude wasn't down if he was hurt bad enough he would hit the canvas just cause someone is bent forward covering their stomach isn't reason enough to stop a fight unless the fighter asks for it. Yeah I agree, I was waiting for Kovalev to go down and get a count. It robbed the fans and Ward of the finish he deserved. If Ward knocks him out, he knocks him out, then let it happen.

Some of those shots I couldn't tell what was on the belt line and what was low. But the last shot that Kovalev got hit with was definitely low. It hit him on the B of the Hublot advertisement on his trunks.

But I agree, that was a bad stoppage. The fans got robbed of a dramatic ending in that 8th round or to see what happens next in round 9 or maybe 10.
