nc is the right call, but this fight and the ****ens fight aint gonna make the guys who ran from him to 126 wanna fight him there neither.

Haymon had zero to do with the negotiations and neither did roc nation. The deal was brokered at purse bid between gary jonas and caribe boxing for rigondeaux.

Even top rank and golden boy, at the height of their war, did a fight between lara and vanes because it was a mandatory eliminator.

The decision was poetic justice. Technically a NC would have been correct but I doubt you'll have too many complaints when it was clear Flores was trying to rob the title the way he did. He should apologise to the people who paid for the event and offer some sort of reimbursement for the fight he robbed them off too.
